This morning 3rd and 4th got the opportunity to visit the site of an archaelogical dig on the new Limerick to Foynes road route. We were invited by AMS (Archaelogical Management Solutions) to attend. They spoke to us about their job as archaeologists, the tools they use and showed us some of the many items and artefacts that they have found so far. Such an interesting morning and hopefully some of the next generation of archaeologists is among us at Foynes N.S.
